Planning and Zoning Commission

A vacancy exists on the Commission and expressions of interest are invited.

The Burke County Planning and Zoning Commission is a seven-member board formed for the purpose of promoting health, safety, morals, public convenience, general prosperity, and public welfare of the County.  Meetings are held at 8:00 a.m. on the Third Tuesday of each month with occasional hearings and work sessions scheduled during weekdays and evenings.
